Saiyaara, released in July last year, won the People’s Choice Award at the 2026 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Rani Mukerji accepted the honour, praising director Mohit Suri, lead actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, and the team, and joking that her husband Aditya Chopra drew inspiration from their relationship. The Yash Raj Films release grossed Rs 577 crore.
