Mumbai theatre artist Rupesh Tillu transformed a patch of land near Jawhar, about 120 kilometres from Mumbai, into Fool's Paradise, an artist residency and Miyawaki mini-forest. Over six years, locals and 22 Mumbai artistes planted nearly 600 native trees across more than 50 species to rebuild ecosystem layers, inspire community-led green spaces, and invite public participation.
