Haryana cabinet minister Arvind Sharma said the state aims to steer India’s next automotive chapter by prioritizing electric vehicle manufacturing, battery production, advanced components and R&D. At the HT Auto Leaderboard Awards, he highlighted Haryana’s OEM ecosystem, new incentives including 100% motor vehicle tax exemption up to ₹30 lakh (50% above), a 2026 industrial policy to attract investment and plans to reskill workers for emerging technologies.
