Navitas Solar plans to invest about $1.04 billion across Gujarat and Maharashtra over the next five years as it expands into solar cells, battery storage and power generation. A 2.4 GW solar cell facility is already being developed in Gujarat, while Maharashtra will get two solar parks with a combined capacity of 225 MW. The company is also planning a 5 GWh battery facility in Vadodara.
