Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has called for a nationwide 30-day cleanliness campaign from October 2 to October 31, urging citizens, offices, schools, NGOs and other organisations to clear waste from their homes and workplaces. The Ministry of Mines will also run an e-waste collection drive during the period, aiming to recover critical minerals such as lithium from discarded phones, laptops and computers.
