Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended a raas garba in Kolvada, Gandhinagar, calling the dance an expression of devotion and Gujarat’s cultural identity. His Navratri engagements included meeting Jain leaders in Ahmedabad, prayers at Varadayini Mata temple in Rupal where he laid the foundation stone for an 81-foot Shiva statue, and visiting Bahuchara Mata temple in Mansa.
