Trade and industry associations across India have written to Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Justice, warning that protests over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) are disrupting commerce during the festive season. They sought intervention to halt street-level agitations, protect markets, workers and supply chains, and ensure protests do not impair lawful business.
