Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav demanded immediate release of Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka and others, accusing the BJP of pressing to keep them detained and calling the detentions unconstitutional. He urged party workers to ensure accurate voter lists before nominations, warned of intense electoral battle, and said the SP will release its manifesto on Constitution Day, November 26.
