On Thursday, the Election Commission of India (ECI) met with Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer, district election officers, deputy commissioners of police, and other officials to review preparations for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The meeting focused on the progress of the ongoing Special Summary Revision 2025. Strict instructions were given to ensure that no voters’ names are removed without field verification and providing the voter an opportunity to be heard. This is to ensure fairness and accuracy in the electoral process.
