Veteran actor Nana Patekar died on October 8 at 75 at his Dona Paula, Goa home after being found unconscious and pronounced dead around 5:20 am. He was maternally related to gangster Manohar 'Manya' Surve, had said he might have joined the underworld without acting, and Panaji police have registered an Unnatural Death case under BNSS Section 194.
