Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the government is funding the MCD for 1,000 litter-picking machines to expand mechanical sweeping and garbage collection across the city. The move includes 70 large machines and 30 smaller sweepers for narrow lanes, alongside safety and welfare support for sanitation workers.
