Eight years after the 2018 hit, HBO is moving forward with an eight-episode Crazy Rich Asians sequel series, bringing back Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Ronny Chieng and Michelle Yeoh. Adele Lim, who co-wrote the original film, will serve as showrunner, with Kevin Kwan and director Jon M. Chu among the executive producers. Production is expected to begin in 2027; no release date has been announced.
