Congress has announced key leadership changes in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. Aradhana Mishra Mona has been appointed as the new Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee chief, while former hockey player Pargat Singh will lead the Punjab Congress unit. Imran Masood has also been named Working President in Uttar Pradesh, marking a fresh organisational phase for the party.
