Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced plans to develop Sant Ravidas Nagar, Mirzapur and Varanasi as a silk cluster and to implement the Varanasi-Vindhya Regional Development Plan. Speaking at the India Carpet Expo, he heard exporters’ concerns about a carpet policy, women’s participation and connectivity, and assured government action and CEPC measures to boost women entrepreneurs.
