Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis signed a memorandum of understanding with Hessen's Minister President Boris Rhein to deepen economic ties, designating Hessen as Maharashtra’s gateway to Germany and Europe and Maharashtra as Hessen’s gateway to India and the Indo-Pacific. The pact targets investment, innovation, skills, R&D and AI, covering industry, services, IT, pharmaceuticals and mobility, and will form a Joint Working Group within 90 days.
