The Cockroach Janta Party has formally notified Delhi Police about its planned October 10 Jantar Mantar protest demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation, but police have denied permission for the demonstration. CJP co-convenor Saurav Das questioned the need for permission at a designated protest site, while the party says it will cooperate with police during the agitation.
