Netflix has announced a limited Bridgerton spin-off centered on a young Violet Bridgerton and her romance with Viscount Edmund, exploring her early life before becoming the family's matriarch. Co-created and showrun by Shonda Rhimes with Nicholas Nardini, the series is announced while Bridgerton Season 5 films in London and expands the franchise beyond Queen Charlotte.
