The Maharashtra FDA has suspended the food licence of a BigBasket outlet on Pune’s Karve Road after an inspection found expired and damaged food products, pest activity and improper storage. Officials also flagged temperature-control and cold-chain lapses during the September 21 inspection. The outlet, operated by Innovative Retail Concepts Private Limited, was ordered to suspend operations following a hearing on September 22.
