The Department of Financial Services urged public and private banks to expand digital outreach and implement end-to-end digital loan processing to deepen financial inclusion. In a New Delhi review chaired by DFS Secretary Sanjay Lohiya, officials assessed flagship schemes, Jan Suraksha portal integration, Jansuraksha claim awareness, micro-credit channels and asked banks to join an October to December 2026 saturation campaign.
