Amsterdam-based artist Angel-Rose Oedit Doebé transforms dyed pink rice into installations that link Surinamese-Hindustani plantation history with 1990s television imagery and pop culture. Shown at Method in Delhi, her works combine perspex, archival photographs and objects to probe memory, mixed heritage, nostalgia and decolonisation, using glamour and satire to challenge cultural hierarchies.
