Superstar Akshay Kumar has begun filming Samuk, an ambitious alien survival-action thriller produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Kanishk Varma. The pan-Indian project assembles international creature-effects and stunt teams, including Academy Award-nominated designer Alec Gillis and British action director Luke Tumber, aiming for a large-scale global theatrical release after over two years of development combining military realism, survival horror and alien mythology.
