Reacting to the five-day custody of CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, Abhijit Dipke said they knew arrest was possible but still chose to unfurl the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar. He challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to officially declare an Emergency if peaceful protests were considered a threat, arguing that restrictions on dissent should be made explicit.
