North Bengal is set for economic revival after over Rs 9,600 crore in investments targeting tourism, wellness centres, and tea gardens, announced at a World Tourism Day investor meet. Major groups including Ambuja Neotia, Arya Tea, KK Group, and others pledged projects across Darjeeling, Siliguri, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri and Dooars, expected to create thousands of jobs and modernise regional tourism infrastructure.
