Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 opens October 15 with extraordinary advance bookings: 14.15 lakh Day 1 tickets and around 18-19 lakh for the opening weekend. Surprisingly, the Hindi version sold 39,485 Thursday tickets despite limited screens and no release in national multiplex chains, underscoring Rajinikanth's cross-language appeal and strong box-office potential despite distribution constraints.
