Oil India Ltd. has reported a natural gas discovery in its offshore KG Basin block, with the Godavari-1 well recording a peak flow of 200,000 SCMD and around 170 barrels of condensate daily. The find, located in the Matsyapuri formation, could support India’s domestic gas production ambitions and strengthen efforts to improve long-term energy security.
