Timothy Chan founded Youth Cancer Hong Kong after his own testicular cancer experience to create peer support for patients diagnosed aged 15-39. The charity, now about 400-500 members and supported by volunteers and donations, provides peer pairing, clinical information, fertility guidance, public education and advocacy, and earned Chan a Spirit of Hong Kong Awards community finalist spot.
