At the Asian Para Games in Nagoya, India’s Sandeep set a world record in the men’s 40m T64 final, winning gold in 52.28 seconds while teammate Ajay Kumar took bronze. Saudi’s Nour Alsana claimed silver. India also earned silvers from Nimisha Chakkungalparambil (women’s long jump T47) and Parmod Bijarnia (men’s 1500m T46); two athletes placed fourth.
