OpenAI is rolling out ChatGPT ads in India for logged-in adults on Free and Go tiers; the Go plan costs ₹399 per month. Ads will be clearly labelled at the bottom of responses, while Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education subscribers stay ad-free. OpenAI says it will not share personal chats with advertisers, and ads are excluded for minors and sensitive topics.
