After a 14-hour, roughly 550 km journey from Gwalior, two-and-a-half-year-old white tiger Tejas arrived at Dehradun Zoo and began exploring his new enclosure. Staff reported no signs of distress; his health, behavior, diet chart, and records were monitored throughout transit. Tejas will undergo about 20 days of quarantine and observation, with limited keeper and veterinary access before public display.
