What If Cancer Could Be Stopped by Cutting Off Its Support System?

Scientists in South Korea have developed an experimental cancer treatment that attacks not only tumour cells but also the surrounding cells that help them survive. The platform targets both cancer cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts while disrupting the extracellular vesicles they use to communicate. In animal models, the approach slowed tumour growth and shifted the tumour environment toward an anti-cancer state.
