A chance meeting at Bengaluru’s MG Road Metro Station introduced one commuter to Andrew Almack, a Canadian who has lived in India for over a decade. Almack founded Plastics For Change, which collects discarded plastic and converts it into recycled material while supporting waste pickers through fairer incomes, healthcare, education, training and financial services. The organisation has collected over 87,200 tonnes so far.
