Want To Give Birth In Singapore? Foreigners First Need A 21+ Local Sponsor

Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority has published requirements for pregnant foreign nationals who wish to give birth in the country. Applicants must submit documents including a valid travel document, marriage or separation papers, a doctor’s letter with expected delivery date and any complications, and an embassy letter confirming the newborn’s citizenship. A local sponsor aged 21 or older is mandatory, and application and issuance fees apply.
