Former Rajasthan minister Vishvendra Singh has announced his decision to leave the Congress following a public disagreement with state party president Govind Singh Dotasra over the recent civic polls. Singh said he was hurt by statements from party leaders and could no longer continue with what he described as the party’s “wrong policies.” Congress has not publicly confirmed the formal status of his resignation.
