Facing continuous heavy rainfall, Uttar Pradesh has stepped up power monitoring to maintain uninterrupted supply and ordered rapid repairs of local faults. Energy Principal Secretary and UP Power Corporation chair Ranveer Prasad directed all distribution corporations to monitor systems, dispatch field teams immediately for disruptions, communicate faults to consumers, follow safety protocols during repairs, and manage control rooms tracking feeder and substation outages.
