With festive celebrations right around the corner, the Union Cabinet has rolled out a major update for the Indian Armed Forces by granting nearly 20,000 Agniveers a two-year service extension. This timely decision arrives as the very first batch of personnel was approaching completion of their initial four-year tenure, offering much-needed career stability, higher pay structure, and renewed opportunities for thousands of young soldiers serving the nation today.
