A Deloitte survey of 25,000 UK workers across 22 industries found that nearly two-thirds have used generative AI, while one in three AI users do so without their employer’s knowledge. Known as “shadow AI,” this includes tools used for tasks such as writing emails and summaries. Half of AI users surveyed said they had received no workplace training on using the technology.
