The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board is launching an AI-powered facial recognition system to reduce waiting times for devotees. TTD Chairman BR Naidu revealed that the system will allow devotees to complete their darshan of Lord Venkateswara in just one hour. A Bengaluru-based company has begun preparations for a pilot project in Tirupati and Tirumala. Naidu also shared his vision of turning Tirumala into a smart city with modern infrastructure and spiritual ambiance, backed by the support of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
