A three-month-old tiger cub was rescued from agricultural and fishing nets in a kitchen garden in Natugaon village, Biswanath district, Assam, on September 17. Rescue teams from the forest department, police and WTI freed the cub, avoided chemical immobilisation, and monitored it at a central range office. Teams attempted reunions, conducted drone surveys, and continue camera-trap monitoring after the cub left the cage.
