Maharashtra’s Food and Drug Administration seized banned pan masala, flavoured tobacco and other prohibited products worth over ₹2.09 crore, along with three vehicles, during three raids across Thane and Palghar. One operation alone uncovered more than 55,000 packets of pan masala and zarda. FIRs were registered in all three cases as officials investigate the illegal trade and possible organised networks.
