Six-year-old Chinese speedcuber Lian Yunzhi has set a new women’s 3×3 Rubik’s Cube world record after averaging just 4.27 seconds across five solves. She broke the record twice this month at World Cube Association-certified competitions in Wuhan and Guangzhou. Lian, who has mastered more than 1,300 solving algorithms, is now the first female speedcuber to average under 4.5 seconds.
