On September 23, 2026, two Nvidia-branded trailers belonging to autonomous-trucking firm PlusAI were stolen from outside its Fremont, California warehouse and later found in nearby Newark. Each trailer contained about 20,000 pounds of sand, roughly 40,000 pounds total, used as simulated cargo for testing. Police recovered both trailers and continue investigating how thieves broke locks, towed them away, and who was responsible.
