Marathi film Gondhal has achieved a major milestone by being selected as India’s official entry for the 2027 Oscars. Chosen from 33 films, the Santosh Davakhar directorial will represent India at the Academy Awards. Actress Mrunal Thakur congratulated the director and the entire team on the achievement. Gondhal is also the fourth Marathi film to be selected as India’s official Oscar entry.
