A study of nearly 3,000 adults aged 60+ found that those expecting high tiredness after everyday activities had over twice the risk of death within about 2.7 years. Using the Pittsburgh Fatigability Scale, researchers suggest extreme fatigue may signal underlying health issues and warrants closer medical evaluation rather than being dismissed as normal aging.
