Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay announced plans to build a world-class Olympic City and a dedicated motorsports city in Chennai. The Olympic City will include high-performance training, sports science and medicine centres, and residential facilities for athletes. The motorsports hub aims to host Formula racing, develop young talent and boost tourism, industry and jobs while positioning Chennai to host major international events.
