In Bhubaneswar, volunteers operate mobile stalls selling Rs 5 portions to feed stray dogs, cows and birds, inspired by Odisha's Rs 5 Aahaar scheme. Serving khichdi, idli, curd and snacks, they feed over 200 animals daily, aim to expand via a roti bank, and hope to reduce hunger-related road accidents while encouraging community participation.
