The South Tongu District Assembly in Ghana's Volta Region donated 500 dual desks, funded by the 2025 10% District Assemblies Common Fund furniture allocation, to benefit about 1,000 pupils across 16 schools in 12 circuits. Primarily for upper primary pupils, the desks aim to improve learning conditions; additional desks, KG furniture and teacher desks are expected under the 2026 allocation.
