India's shot putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor aims to breach the 22m mark to set a new national benchmark, similar to Neeraj Chopra's impact on javelin. The 31-year-old national record holder (21.77m) said recurring injuries, including a Grade 1 calf tear before the Commonwealth Games, hindered performance. He finished fifth in Glasgow with 20.27m and says he is now fit and targeting continental gold.
