Bharati Mudi once dreamed of becoming a footballer but had to give it up due to family responsibilities and financial challenges. Instead, she started a free football training centre in her Bankura village in 2009. Today, around 25 tribal girls train there, with at least 18 of her students representing West Bengal at state level and several going on to compete nationally.
