Israeli and Chinese researchers have developed a method to produce green hydrogen while simultaneously generating industrially valuable epoxides, replacing oxygen in water electrolysis. Published in Nature Communications, the technique reportedly achieved 98% efficiency for both hydrogen generation and the parallel chemical reaction, and it attained current densities suitable for large-scale industrial electrolysis, potentially lowering production costs.
