South Korea's foreign ministry signed a memorandum with the Indian Ocean Commission to strengthen cooperation in maritime affairs, food security and related sectors through the Korea-IOC Cooperation Fund. The MOU establishes the fund's framework and oversight to support projects in maritime security, climate response, fisheries and food security with IOC members including Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros and Réunion (France).
